Terms of Service

1. Service

commerce.fyi provides REST and MCP endpoints for creating stores, adding products, creating checkouts, listing orders, refunds, and sending receipts. We do not provide a merchant dashboard, admin panel, theme editor, or multi-store management UI.

2. Accounts and ownership

Creating a store returns an X-Owner-Token. You are responsible for keeping this token secure. We do not offer password recovery or account management beyond the token.

3. Payments

All payment processing is handled by Stripe Connect. We never see or store cardholder data. Your store must be published through Stripe Connect before buyers can complete checkout.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use commerce.fyi to sell illegal goods, engage in fraud, or abuse the API. Rate limits and abuse detection apply. We may revoke tokens or disable stores without notice for violations.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, correctness, or fitness for any particular purpose. You are responsible for testing your integration and complying with all applicable laws.

6. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, chargebacks, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months (which may be zero).

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will post material changes on this page.
